I did accounts for about ten years since 2012 before I took interest in real estate. So, when the world was a mess during covid, I took a course with Real Estate Training Academy and got my Cert IV in 2022. That was when I embarked on this journey.
I love what I do now comparing to my previous jobs (worked in hospitality, aged care as well). The variety of tasks keeps me from falling asleep. Keeping in touch with people from all walks is another fun part of the job. Doing opens and leasing is what I like the most. What I have benefited from doing my job is to learn about different properties, age, style, owners, and of course problems. I feel like I am part of someone’s life every day because there will always be some problems there waiting for us to figure out.
Now I am with a good company with a bunch of amazing people, I cannot see the end of this chapter in the next 10 years or so.
